It’s almost May which means a special holiday is right around the corner — Mother’s Day! On Sunday May 12, moms will be spoiled rotten, and I shared some fantastic gift ideas on WFSB’s Better CT in Hartford, CT recently. Scot Haney and Kara Sundlun remain my FAVORITE people to visit – shout out to Jamie Calli Mascia, the show’s all-star producer.
I always try to find gifts that celebs love when I do gift segments – but at price points that are affordable. I mean our moms are great but unless we’re rolling in dough, I don’t think a Ferrari is in the budget — for me anyways.
I came across this really fun wine brand called Mommy Juice – how much more perfect is this gift for Mother’s Day? The wine (in red and white) comes from a family-owned, family-run winery (love when families work together) in Northern California’s Central Coast, and its creator, Cheryl Durzy (a mom herself), came up with the name because her kids used to call the wine she would sip from time to time “Mommy’s Juice.” Awww kiddies. The bottles retail for $10 here and will be available soon in CVS around the country where wine is sold. The red is a blend with notes of berries and the white is 100% chardonnay with a citrus fruit aroma. Mommy Juice had a busy weekend pouring its delicious wines for celebs at the MTV Movie Awards in LA. This is wine that moms (and anyone who loves wine) can enjoy!
