Next stop: Richmond VA! What a week it has been! I had the pleasure of visiting Richmond and -side note alert – they might have the most gorgeous train station I have ever seen. It’s over 100 yrs old and in excellent condition. In fact my cabbie told me stories about how his grandfather (or great grandfather? I’m not exactly a history buff) took the train into that exact station when he returned home from the CIVIL war. Impressive.
I shared more Mother’s Day gifts under $50 including Blue Nile jewelry (obsessed with their silver leaf earrings!) on “Virginia This Morning” on WTVR, the local CBS station. The host, Jessica Noll, was so much fun to work with. Her middle name is actually Dorothy named after her grandmother. For those of you who don’t know, I am named after my grandmother too. I never had the chance to meet her because she died before I was born, which makes it even a bigger honor to carry on her legacy.
