#TBT to that time Nancy Grace asked me to do live shots for her show from Whitney Houston's church in Newark the week after she died . Trying to report live and hear Nancy in my IFB while a superfan drove back and forth at a crawl behind me blasting "I Will Always Love You" from his Pathfinder with all windows down and hatchback up was one of the most challenging moments in my career. I'm already limited to my left ear for my IFB since I can't hear very well out of the right – but I somehow pulled it off and the superfan made my reporting authentic and my shot dynamic despite the fact that I couldn't even hear myself think. #tvlife #throwbackthursday #dorothyontv #careergoals #goals
